Direct, online donations are most welcome and permit designated divisions of Miller's Vets as your beneficiary. The following information is designed to briefly describe the respective divisions and inform you how your donation will be used.

*Excess funds, if any may be crisscrossed between both Veterans divisions, with surpluses, if any, transferred to our parent Center for Homeless, in support of its 260-plus men, women and children guests.

Option 1 – Miller’s Vets:

Miller's Vets consists of the 40-plus homeless Veterans under the full care of the South Bend Center for the Homeless (CFH). 24 of the male Veterans reside in the Robert L. Miller, Sr. Veteran’s Center, a newly remodeled facility located on the north end of the campus. The remaining 16-plus Veterans, including female Veterans, reside in the main building. Many of our homeless Veteran residents volunteer for community events. They are provided full uniforms and refreshers of their prior military experiences pertaining to marching, parading, along with Posting of Colors and Honor Guard functions. Believing their extra efforts and dedication warrant special recognition and rewards, 21 of those faithful volunteers are invited into membership of TEC 21 (Thank ‘Em Club). The rewards are pizza parties, ballgames, movies, bingo nights, and much more.

Public exposure in the form of parades, ceremonies, and full Military Honors at funerals and grave sites make it possible for those in the general population to express their sincere appreciation for the service homeless Veterans have rendered to their country. Miller's Vets provides no-costs funerals for poor Veterans including a coffin, religious service, and full Military Honors. All of this is in addition to a free burial in the Miller’s Vets Garden of Peace cemetery. Donations to this fund are used to support these important activities.

We invite every donor to designate an honoree at the time a gift is made to our Center. This can be done by filling in the box with your honoree’s name under the wording, "Miller's Vets Donation: In Memory and Honor of" on the Miller’s Vets "Donate" page.

Option 2 – The Robert L. Miller, Sr. Veteran’s Center:

The Robert L. Miller, Sr. Veteran’s Center is a beautiful facility located in South Bend, Indiana, and is home to 24 male Veterans. It features bedrooms, baths, a kitchenette, a gathering room that opens into a community garden, a front desk, offices, and a conference area. Veterans are assigned a therapist and coach the day they check in and have access to drug and alcohol treatment, individual and group therapy, clothes and meals, and the help they need to reintegrate into society. Our Vets are given support for PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), medical issues and, for many, emotional suffering from years on the street. While the Veterans Administration provides a stipend for services, there is always a substantial need for additional funds to cover benefits we believe are imperative for our Vets...benefits our compassion demands we provide. Donations to this fund will enable us to provide those benefits.

We invite every donor to designate an honoree at the time a gift is made to our Center. This can be done by filling in the box with your honoree’s name under the wording, "Robert L. Miller, Sr. Veteran's Center Donation: In Memory and Honor of" on the Miller’s Vets "Donate" page.
