The Last Salute
BORN: 18 December 1947 in South Bend, Indiana
PERSONAL: Widow, 3 children, 8 grandchildren
EDUCATION: Washington High School, 1965, Indiana University at South Bend, various courses
OCCUPATION: Realtor at Cressy and Everett since February of 1987. Designations: Certified Realtor Specialist (CRS), Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI), and Broker Associate. Previously employed at IUSB in Division of Education with various responsibilities (secretarial, computer assistance for special education teachers).
ORGANIZATIONS: Tri Kappa member since 2004 (purpose of this group is to raise money to donate each year to various organizations who express a need); trainee for Ronald McDonald House.
OBJECTIVE: I am at a point in my life where I have some time now to give back to my community. My desire to volunteer with Millers Vets is two-fold: my dad was a Marine who served in World War II, receiving a Purple Heart; and I have always felt that with all the sacrifices our wonderful veterans have made for their country, it is only fitting that they be taken care of forever!
